The Custom in the Kitchen lesson is an add-on to any of my other offerings. As a supplement to the meal-plan I create for you, I will make a personal visit to your kitchen, to teach you how to make these recipes. By the time the lesson is done, you will be able to confidently prepare your menus on your own; “ease” and “accessibility” are, after all, my bywords.
If you find yourself aimlessly wandering the kitchen, lost in the challenge of preparing healthy and delicious meals for you and your family, Curious in the Kitchen is the option for you. I will give you a one-on-one lesson, teaching you my original recipes while arming you with the tips and tricks that you will need to demystify dinnertime. Lessons in the past have included:
The Curious in the Kitchen option can be extended to group lessons as well, so consider me for your next birthday party, or invite your family to get Curious in the Kitchen with you.
Creating delicious meals day after day can be a challenge, regardless of your household cook’s level of expertise. Does a family member, housekeeper or Personal Chef prepare the majority of your meals?
Your Chef may be a whiz at certain dishes or types of cuisine, but how does he or she rate on the important stuff? . . . Does this cuisine tap into your bodily needs? Can your Chef alter your favorite recipes to meet your dietary restrictions? . . . If you choose the Chefs in the Kitchen offering, I will visit your home and train your household’s primary cook to prepare the delicious foods that you crave with the nutrition that you and your family need.
The presence of the many intriguing and foreign ingredients on grocery store shelves makes it hard to resist throwing something new into the shopping cart. But now that you’ve purchased Nama Shoyu or Miso Paste, what do you do with it? If you opt for the Confused in the Kitchen service offering, I will give you a one-on-one lesson about how to use these unusual ingredients and when to integrate them into delicious, easy-to-make recipes fit for everyday life. We can even take a tour of your local health food shop or market to help you learn to source these products yourself.
